Prebook Parking
Travelers parking for longer than three hours are strongly encouraged to pre-book parking at least 24 hours in advance. You can amend your reservation up to one hour before the scheduled time.
Reserved Premium Parking
Reserve a parking space to ensure you are closer to your terminal. There are dedicated spaces in each parking garage. The reservation must be made online.
Long Term Parking
Customers planning to park at Newark Liberty for more than 30 days in any lot should contact ABM at 973 961-6421 or 973 961-6422 upon arrival. Provide your name, license plate number and the estimated number of days you plan to be parked. Any vehicle not registered with ABM that is parked longer than 30 days will be towed, and the owner will be responsible for retrieval costs.
Economy Parking
Customers utilizing Newark Liberty’s economy Lot P6 can take the free courtesy shuttle bus between P6 and Terminals A, B, and C. The P6 shuttle runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week and departs every 10 minutes. To return to the parking lot, customers can find the P6 shuttle bus at the following pickup locations (which are signed as 'Parking P6 Shuttle'):
Terminal A, Level 1 (across two roadways)
Terminal B, Level 1 (across two roadways)
Terminal C, Level 1 (across one roadway)

Ways to Pay for Parking
Accepted Payment Methods:

- Contactless Payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay),
E-ZPass Plus
Our automated parking system allows customers to use their E-ZPass tag to pay for parking at the airport.
You may use E-ZPass Plus if you:
- Have registered for E-ZPass Plus at the E-ZPass Plus Web site.
- Replenish your E-ZPass account with a valid credit card.
If you are a commercial account user of E-ZPass, call your Customer Service Center to have E-ZPass Plus activated on your account.
Here’s how it works.
- Wait until the gate arms raise when you enter the lot. It can sometimes take up to 20 seconds for the system to read your E-ZPass. Please do not pull a ticket.
- When you exit the parking lot, use the lanes marked with the purple E-ZPass signs.
- If the parking fee is less than $20, it will be deducted from your E-ZPass account balance.
- If the fee is $20 or more, it will be charged directly to the credit card you use to replenish your E-ZPass account.

Persons with Restricted Mobility
Parking spaces for customers with restricted mobility are located in each parking lot near the terminal entrance, subject to availability. Official ADA license plates or other official permits must be prominently displayed to park in reserved spaces. Violators will be towed.
A courtesy ADA/Restricted Mobility discount is offered to these customers. To utilize the discount, you must enter lot through the “Ticket” lane and pull a ticket. Upon exit, request the courtesy discount by pressing the Help button and chatting with an attendant.
Please Note:
- The courtesy ADA/Restricted Mobility discount applies after only a minimum parking duration of 4.5 hours.
- Charges are incurred in half-hour increments before reaching the daily maximum.
- Designated restricted mobility spaces are located in each short-term parking lot near terminal entrances.
- The discount cannot be utilized with E-ZPass Plus payment.

Passenger Drop-off and Pick-up
There is no parking in front of or next to any of our terminals. The front of the terminals is for loading and unloading passengers only. Unattended vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
When dropping off or picking up a passenger, we recommend you park your vehicle in one of our parking lots/garages.
As an alternative for those picking up a passenger, we also recommend using our free Cell Phone Lots. These lots are less than five minutes from any terminal and provide a convenient place to wait for arriving flights, while avoiding congestion in the terminal roadway areas.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Charging your electric vehicle at Newark Liberty Airport is easy.
- EV charging stations are available in Lot P4, Ground Level and Parking A, Levels 4 and 5.
- Charging stations are tied into ChargePoint and PowerFlex.
- Access the station with an RFID enabled credit card, ChargePoint access card, or via the PowerFlex app.
- Electricity is provided free of charge.
- All parking lot fees will be collected when you exit the lot.
- The chargers are capable of taking a vehicle from empty to a full charge in 12-24 hours at Level I and 4-6 hours at Level II.
